Mark I want you to bring these cookies over to the new neighbor. I have lived in the same house for all of my 7 years. In that time only 3 people had moved on my street. The last person Mr. Stone really did not move away. He died one night of old age I guess. He must have been about 60 and he I never saw him without a cigarette in his mouth. Even at the age of 7 I knew cigarettes kill. How I am not sure but I know that that they do. Mr. Stone had done just after Christmas and his house had been empty until today April 11. Today was a day that would change my life even if I did not know it at the time. As I walked over with my Sunday church cloths on to old Mr. Stones house I was nervous, for some reason I had to bring over some cake that my mom had made, I had eaten some of her cakes in the past and I felt sorry for the poor people who would have to now. Well I know it’s not the best attitude but I was thinking better them than me. Since she made a cake for the new neighbors it might be another month before I would have to put on another Oscar performance of how good her cake was. The worst part for me was eating some of it and getting a nice piece of egg shell. Did my mom think we were that we were the Beavers from TV minus the fact that my dad did not live with us.
These new neighbors could be a house full of dam killers, or some cult that wants to get me under there spell, next thing I will know I will see my liver for sale on e-bay. They could be some crazy ass bible pushers telling me how God the almighty was going to save me if I there prayed and if I bought their 12 bibles. I think I was already too late for that, god would have gotten me if he was real I thought with a big smile on my face. After all I did toss some mud balls at a few cars with Kevin yesterday and today I am still going strong.
Ring Ring
I could here some people moving about and someone was moving closer to the door I could see there shadow through the frosted glass. The door opened and no one was there until Catherine stuck here head out. At that moment in time when I look back I think my world changed. Hello I am Mark, I live next door I want to say welcome to the neighbor hood. I made a quick decision as I could already fell my hands start to sweat and my heart went from 0-100 in a few seconds. I purposely dropped my moms cake as there was no way I would ever make this girl go trough that.
I had rehearsing that line over and over on my walk over. I was not sure what the heck to say next. I am Catherine thank you. At 7 years old I had found the girl of my dreams. Some people search all there life and are never able to find it and here I was a 7 and I had although I did not know it yet.

Well less than 2 weeks into this New Year and I have let some of my resolutions slide. I have been answering the phone like a mad man so that’s a good start. Suzanne you’re not on my “move on” list so don’t worry.
I am off to Vancouver and Whistler for 10 days this month, should be a good way to really think about what the hell I am doing in the future. What better way to think of the future s=snowboarding in Whistler or sitting at Starbucks in Vancouver watching the world go past me. I have narrowed my career choices down to the following MBA, China, Vancouver, and Rodeo Clown (even if I am scared of Clowns- Stephen King that’s your fault).

Went to the leaf game last night, with my dad, brother in law and Zack. A dinner at the hot stove courtesy of Randal was great. I have been preparing for applying for my MBA; the application process really weeds out the people that are only half serious. It is a long process 4 essays and some self evaluation is not as easy as you would think.
I have made some New Year resolutions, they include answering my phone I tend to let people leave messages well not anymore I will be answering when ever I can. I also want to move on from people who probably are not “good” for me. I plan on being much more active and cut down on my TV time, and spend more time reading, writing and the like. I have a few other big plans for 2006 that involves my personal life but I will keep those under raps for now, if they happen I will most surly write about it.
Oh a prediction in 2006 is that GOOGLE shares will take a big nose dive.

Hope everyone had a great NEW YEAR and a great xmass. I will be updating my web site much more often in 2006. I have been watching LONG WAY AROUND a type of documentary on traveling from England to New York by motorcycle by Ewan McGregor ,Charley Boorman and there trusted camera man Caludio. It has got me thinking of what I should do for my lifetime trip.
Well hope 2006 is a great year for everyone!
