Weekend was one busy one two late nights Friday and Saturday all but killed me.
I went and saw “The Wedding Crashers” this weekend. I can’t remember laughing so hard for a long time. There were points in the movie that tears were coming down my face. Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn play great funny characters that made me laugh. This is not to say the movie did not have any bad points. If you want to just relax not think a lot and just enjoy and laugh then I would recommend the movie.

Today was an interesting day. As I got in the elevator the Asian guy (Mike)from “Sex Toys and Chocolate” got in also. I said hello and told him his show is great, and then added the show has made me laugh and given me a few hints
about women (Trust me I need all the help I can get). He said thanks and we chatted for a few more seconds on the way down, the part that surprised me was that he then introduced himself and shock my hand, just seemed like a friendly easy going guy, hope his show does well. Side Question: Is he married to the women on that show?
I headed over to Banana Republic at lunch, where I would say I purchase about half of my cloths. I had returned a pair of jeans to be “patched” that had ripped about 4 months after I purchased them. I saw the patch job and told the clerk that it was unacceptable.
I know Wendy would be proud of me as I laid down the law (took no shit), not like I did when we went to Blockbuster and returned the wrong movie I had been given and demanded a refund. This time I stood my ground (I had visions of me screaming and protesting in font of the store and the cops coming to hauling my ass away).
To my surprise the manager said your right that is a “crap” job let me give you a store credit. I was flabbergasted never have I gotten such good service, and I mean never. BR has just received another gold star in my book.

I will be working downtown over the next three weeks, covering people on vacation. Crazy heat wave is killing me.

Well the Canada day long weekend was not bad, was able to move the rest of my “junk” into my place and got in a golf game as well as a long rollerblade. I am not sure of the distance but I would guess it was around 10 km. Missed the party down on the beach with the guys but hope to make that up another weekend.
Was out taking photos on Sunday with Ernie and ran into Larissa along Bloor. A strange but good feeling that’s for sure. Weird how that happens you think of sending someone an email and bam you run into them.
I was down at harbor front on Friday for the fireworks show and the temperature literally went down 20 degrees. I was prepared like all good boy scouts and pulled out a big sweater.
